FAMILY PROFILING The Pat Brown Criminal Profiling Agency provides Unequivocal Death Analysis and Crime Scene Analysis and Behavioral Profiling on cold cases. Ms. Brown does not provide ongoing investigative services but she will consult with a private investigator of your choice on investigative avenues and issues. The fees for these services are listed below. Families are charged fifty percent of the normal rate for profiling consultation. Charge to families for all services is at $100/hour. Limited Document Review - $500 retainer When cases remain open and the family has little access to case information (autopsy, police reports, interviews, etc.), the case can only be partially profiled. In spite of this, many families find it useful to have a profiler review the case and give them an idea as to cause and manner of death, why the police have not solved it as yet and what are the chances of case closure. The estimated time for review is five hours. Should the case information be so limited as to take less time, the payment for unused time will be refunded. Full Case Review - $2000 retainer When a case has full documentation, more time is necessary to review the added information. The estimated time for review is twenty hours. This results in an in-depth analysis of the case that can be forwarded on to law enforcement. Should the case take less time to analyze than expected, the payment for the unused time will be refunded. Continued Case Assistance - $100/hour Upon completion of a case analysis, the family may wish the profiler to consult with a private detective they have retained to further investigate the case or the family may wish to discuss new information or complicated issues that have arisen after the analysis was completed. Continued assistance with the case is billed at $100/hour. The Staff at the PBCPA
